I'm sitting alone by a window, and the Sun is set
Staring through an open door
I never thought it'd be easy to take to a step
But I don't think I've ever been this scared before
Sometimes I feel I'm just waiting to combust
And I don't know if there's anyone left that I can trust
Should I just wait by the phone?
Or sink like a stone?
Or burn it all to the ground
And build it back again
